What causes Night Sweats?

Night sweats, sometimes it really is just to hot in the room.  Sometime it's an underlying medical issue.  Let's explore a few of those medical issues:
  1. Low Blood Sugar
    * Different activities before bed could cause your body to lower your glucose while you sleep.k
  2. Sleep Apnea
    * Seating is induced by "fight or flight" being triggered when you briefly stop breathing due to the ailment
  3. Medications
    Certain medications can also cause night sweats
    * AntiInflamatories - Acetaminophen & NSAIDs
    * Older Antidepressants
    * Steroids
    * and Hormone Replacement therapy
    All of these could be possible medicinal culprits
  4. Menopause
    * I think we all know this one "Hot Flashes"
    * However after menopause or chemo has ended it could be anxiety or depression
  5. Pheochromocytoma (I know doctors speak)
    * Rare tumor in the adrenal gland
    * Occurs between 20-50
To find relief lower the temperature in the bedroom.  Add fans and wear breathable clothes.  Keep a diary of symptoms for your doctor to help find a root cause if it does come down to being medical.
